Lacrosse Training and ProgramsIn physical training sessions, skills are cultivated to improve balance and core stability which aid in actions of changing directions quickly, accurate shooting and better checking. Stamina is also developed to outlast your opponent. Coordination and balance is developed to assist in scooping the ball while on the run.

In technical training sessions, skills are cultivated to improve stick handling as well as provide a good target to catch a pass. All drills are conducted in single player as well as multiple player settings to increase game simulation.

Dan McHugh
Dan McHugh is head girls varsity coach at Lakeville High School. 10 years of experience coaching lacrosse, prior experience at Prior Lake High School, and Saint Thomas Academy. Helped start Lakeville lacrosse 8 years ago. Coach McHugh helped lead Lakeville High School to the sectional finals in 2007. Has level 2 girl's lacrosse certification through US Lacrosse Association. Coach McHugh learned the game 13 years ago in Denver. Currently plays in men's league.
