Academics at BCS Academy
Elite Training. Flexible Education.
BCS Academy combines high-level soccer training with a flexible academic model designed specifically for student-athletes.
Each school day includes a dedicated academic block from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing students to pursue their athletic goals while staying on track academically.
Our Virtual Academic Partner: SAI Academy
BCS Academy partners with SAI Academy as our official virtual academic provider.
Students are enrolled through SAI Academy and complete their coursework through SAI Academy’s online learning platform. During the academic portion of the day, students log into their individual SAI Academy accounts, access their courses, complete assignments, attend any required virtual sessions, and work through their academic requirements.
SAI Academy provides:
- Accredited academic curriculum
- Certified instructors and academic support
- Course management and grading
- Academic progress tracking
- Student support services
- Tutoring resources when needed
This model allows students to receive a flexible, high-quality education while maintaining a training schedule designed for serious soccer players.
Structured Learning Environment
While SAI Academy provides the academics, BCS Academy provides the environment.
During the academic block, students work from our learning center under the supervision of BCS Academy Educational Facilitators. Our facilitators are not classroom teachers. Instead, they help create a productive learning environment by ensuring students remain focused, stay on task, manage their time effectively, and make meaningful progress throughout the day.
Through regular reporting from SAI Academy, our staff can monitor whether students are on pace academically and help hold students accountable for completing their coursework.
Academic Accountability
Success in a virtual learning environment requires discipline and responsibility. Our facilitators help students develop the habits necessary for success by encouraging accountability, organization, time management, and consistent daily effort. Students are expected to actively engage in their coursework and make productive use of their academic time each day.
Additional Academic Support
Students who require additional academic assistance may access tutoring and academic support services provided through SAI Academy. This ensures students have access to qualified educational professionals whenever additional help is needed.
Students are responsible for bringing a fully charged, working laptop to school each day. Reliable participation in the academic program requires daily access to their SAI Academy online learning platform.
